- A year round color factory in the landscape, the Sango Kaku Japanese Maple, commonly called Coral Bark Maple, lives up to its name. In Japanese, Sango Kaku means Coral Tower.and refers to the almost fluorescent coral-red color its branches and stems turn during the fall and winter persisting into spring.

It was hand-drawn with colored pencils by 10 years-old kids during 3 hours workshops in march 2017.

Sango Coral is the only coral out of 2,500 species with the unique purification quality. The key was to find why the water was so pure. They learned these particular islands were built up from the coral reefs like so many other islands. But there was a difference. Acer palmatum Little Sango (Coral Bark Maple). Part shade. Zones 5-8. 5ft tall. 5 ft wide A dwarf colored-bark Japanese Maple tree with an upright form. Foliage is light green in spring and summer, turning to yellow and orange in fall. Vivid coral-red shoots blaze in winter.
